About This Blog
The Mission
This blog will focus directly on the goal of reaching the moon, as a private enterprise, without government sponsorship, as cheaply, legally, and safely as possible. I intend to begin with the basics of rocket and materials science, scaling progressively higher, until the goal is reached. In the course of realizing a working solution, I will document this process including materials, equipment, and to the greatest extent possible, working designs. Any software that is created in the process will be open-sourced as well. It is my intention to make all my work reproducible by anyone with sufficient determination and capital.
Liability and Legality
As we live in litigious times, I will not provide any information directly in this forum that I believe could be misused or could otherwise prove hazardous to someone lacking the necessary responsibility or knowledge. That said however, the complete documents will be available for those interested.
The Complete Documents
It should be possible for anyone skilled in metalworking and who understands the scientific method to reproduce my work using the information on this website alone. However, in the interest of expediency and scientific progress, I will make the complete documents available on a per-request basis.
To obtain the complete documents, it will be necessary for interested parties to jump through one single hoop: they must pick it up from me directly at the Space Access Society’s annual meeting, traditionally in Phoenix, Arizona. Anyone sufficiently interested in this material should be there anyway. Make certain to inform me in advance such that I have sufficient copies available. Under no circumstances will this material be given to anyone under 18 years of age.
